Future of fashion

Welcome to going green vegan fashion. Designers have started using animal free products. the fashion industry is one of the most polluted industries in the world, after the meat industry and the oil industry.Vegan fashion is that which isn’t derived from an animal product which means no use of wool, no leather, no feathers and silk . Animal skins are disastrous for the environment especially when there are so many great alternatives from the catwalk to high street. there are some really great cruelty free fashion ideas and we have to find solutions that are on plants like the use pineapple or apple leather or mushroom leather, and also designers have also started using animal free products such as recycled plastic bottle, cork wood, industrial waste rubber and other materials. More and more vegan clothing retailers are now also popping up online. Vegan fashion is  a part of a greater movement vegan which also includes incorporating such ideals into daily lifestyle diet . It emphasizes on upcycled clothing made out of unconventional materials. It focuses on alternative materials for leather and fur. It also tries to minimize all the secondary wastes generated such as corpses and useless vat chemicals. I hope that  vegan fashion will be able to inspire every designer , companies, patrons, and even buyers who just wanna be around fashion. luxury fashion is so connected with animal derived materials, that it’s hard to break the stereotype pattern. The future of fashion has to change. It has to take care of plant , water and air . It has to rethink the chain of production and evolve our habits. We are ready for moving into the era of more sustainable clothing. This ideology is ready to show the world that vegan fashion or sustainable fashion is nothing less than high fashion. This not only is cruelty free fashion but  also extremely sustainable. It’s very important that a change starts somewhere.

Fashionable mask

Because of corona pandemic people have started wearing masks when they are going out. People would like to know what fashion brands are doing during Corona pandemic. The fashion industries have their own ways of dealing with corona virus. Fashion companies have started making masks with their logos on them. They are using high-quality, tightly woven, double layered 100% organic cotton. They are using variety of colours that will go with any of your dresses ( casual & formal). In times of corona pandemic many forward looking ladies are displaying their creative skills by making artistic and cost effective reusable masks. Not only fashion these ladies are also spreading awareness on personal hygiene to the Indian population. This trend will be there for next two to three years. Due to this pandemic there has been tremendous improvement in hygiene manner of Indian population.

Smart purchase

The current trend in fashion is ” Fast Fashion ” With companies producing very cheap clothes at a fast pace, Customers wear them for a while and then throw them away. If you choose a more durable garment, You can wear it for a longer period. Replace your bulging wardrobe stuffed with bad purchases with a so called “capsule wardrobe, which consists of a limited number of items that you can easily combine. Choosing what we call ” Slow fashion “can make a huge difference to the environment!! It involves buying better quality garments that will last for longer and values fair treatment of people. Idea of Capsule wardrobe is to select 30 to 40 items that you can mix & match and wear only those items for an entire season. Idea of doing this is to save money and avoid impulsive purchases . What I feel is that the idea of capsule wardrobe is the best for all those who are unable to organize their wardrobe, you won’t have to stress over what you want to wear and you will still look good on a daily basis.

Fashion repeats itself

History repeats itself and so does fashion .trends repeat every 24 years. When I was doing fashion designing. Whatever I was wearing that time. It came into fashion again. Whenever my daughter opens my wardrobe she finds my clothes very fashionable. Which I used to wear in my college days (1996) . Which sheds light on the reality that fashion really does repeats itself. She look so happy when she wear my leather skirt, high waist jeans and many more. Every two decades what is old is new again. My daughter likes to combine the old trends with the new one and create a totally different look. She is very creative.. So don’t throw your clothes. Keep them for the coming generations. Those clothes might be very fashionable for them.

Black is my favorite

Black is my favorite colour. Black is associated with power, elegance, sophistication, boldness & authority.” Is black a colour ?” This has been a subject of debate for many years. Black is a colour that absorb light meaning a black object absorbs all colour and no colours are reflected back to the eyes. Some say that black is the absence of colour. But if you combine the three primary colour-red, yellow & blue the result is very close to black. One can say that the mix of three colour should be considered as a colour. During the 1700’s, black become a fashionable colour and started to be worn for any party or event. When you wear black , it makes you appear more attractive, intelligent and confident. This colour goes with any combination. Lot’s of designers have trust on this colour. It’s flattering towards every skin tone and body type for me black is perfect. You can fill with the emotion you want to express. It can represent both the positive and the negative. My favorite add is “Raymond all black collection”that reflects confidence. For me black isn’t just colour but the way of life that give me confidence.

Don’t die for brand

Firstly the name doesn’t mean it’s the best. Nowadays many people buy clothes from High- end showrooms. Branded clothes aren’t really worth the money. Branded clothes are so expensive because you are paying for the brand name . Branded companies spend a lot of time, energy and lots of money on their marketing. These brands know their customers mindset. People wear luxury brands for the quality, but also because they want others to know that they are wearing name brand clothing. If it wasn’t about the brand name and labels, prices wouldn’t matter and neither would fashion. Why designer clothes are so expensive has been left unanswered in fashion for decades. Let’s not give so much pressure on our mind and our pockets . We should be a little bit logical. We should not support big clothing brands . Shop from local boutique. Encourage them to keep Eco-friendly garments . When you shop from boutiques you get hand picked products that are of higher quality and are unique to that store. They are able to keep up with the latest trends as they are able to refresh their inventory more frequently.

Comfort

Clothing comfort. In simple words. Clothing comfort is a state of mind. Clothing comfort is a state of satisfaction indicating physiological. Psychological and physical balance among the people. No need for expensive clothes of fancy brands. Look and appearance aren’t everything but self expression through fashion will certainly add some fun and sparkle to your life. Never follow anybody. Follow your heart.

Democratic fashion

A famous designer once said “I believe that fashion should be democratic. It cannot be only for the rich or the super slim. It should be for all.” . Nowadays people express their mood through the colours of their clothes and some time with quotes or taglines written on their clothes.Loving fashion is quite a contemporary past time.
